Jayamma was an 80-year-old in a small village in Rural Bangalore District. She lost her husband, and then, her only son. Her family threw her out of their home, and she survived on her meagre pension of ₹500/$8 a month.
A few months ago, her situation had deteriorated so much that she jumped into a well, and killed herself.
We lost Jayamma, but we can’t leave the destitute of rural Bangalore without a clean, safe home. We are giving a part of our land to create Jayamma Mane (Jayamma’s Home). It will house 50 of the most needy residents, and will have the best care and medical facilities for them for life. We already manage very large scale logistics for human grade food, transportation and medicine. We have access the best medical care in our neighbourhood and specialists on Bangalore.
All INR contributions receive an 80G certificate.
